Laura Blanco

Laura Blanco is a seasoned professional in public policy and advocacy with extensive experience in the European digital landscape. Currently serving as the Director of EU Public Policy & Advocacy at Etsy, Laura has held key roles in various capacities since February 2019. Previous positions include European Affairs Associate at the Center for Democracy & Technology, where Laura coordinated policy campaigns and provided strategic counsel, and EU Regulatory & Policy Advisor at DLA Piper, focusing on client representation in governmental relations. Early career experiences include roles at the British Chamber of Commerce in Belgium and as a trainee in public affairs for the homeopathic sector. Laura holds a Master’s Degree in International Commercial Law from the University of Nottingham, alongside a Bachelor's Degree in European Law from Maastricht University, and has completed an Erasmus Exchange Programme focused on EU & UK Competition Law.
