Michael Cata is an experienced leader in international strategy and product management, currently serving as the Director of International Strategy at Etsy since August 2021. Cata has previously held key roles at Etsy as the Corporate Integration Manager, leading post-acquisition integrations. Prior to Etsy, Cata was a Founding Partner at McCallum & Partners, where a management consultancy was established to address complex challenges in legacy companies. Additional experience includes a Product Manager role at 18F, where user-centered technologies were developed for the federal government, and strategic consulting positions at IBM and Undercurrent. Cata's career began with analytical roles at AIG and Time Warner Cable. Cata holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Political Science from The Ohio State University.
