Tommy Chen

Tommy Chen is a Staff Machine Learning Engineer at Etsy, where they have served in multiple roles, including Staff Applied Scientist II in areas such as Gift Mode, Knowledge Base, and Growth. Prior to their current position, Tommy held roles at eBay as an Applied Researcher and intern, and they also contributed to education as a Teaching Fellow at both Harvard University Extension School and MIT. They earned a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from Harvard University after graduating from Stuyvesant High School. Tommy began their career as an intern at Lattice Engines and later assisted in computer science courses at Harvard's engineering school.
