Peter Ward

Peter Ward is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in mechatronics engineering and entrepreneurial ventures. As Co-Founder of Enaiblers, Peter is dedicated to advancing global health equity through affordable AI-based Digital Pathology, particularly targeting neglected tropical diseases. Additionally, Peter holds a position as a Mechatronics Engineer at Etteplan, following a similar role at Devex Mekatronik AB. Peter’s previous entrepreneurial efforts include co-founding EasyAI, which participated in Australia's first robotics accelerator, and founding OpenRevs, aimed at promoting renewable energy and electric vehicles. Peter has also contributed to research and development in robotic systems at the Centre of Excellence for Autonomous Systems and served as a Research Lab Manager at the University of Technology Sydney. Continuing professional development includes pursuing a Doctorate in Electronics and ICT Engineering Technology with a focus on Machine Learning at Ghent University. Academic qualifications encompass a Master's degree in Mechatronics from the University of Technology Sydney and a Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics from The University of Western Australia.
