Simon Rung

Simon Rung is a highly experienced engineering professional with a strong background in project management and development within the fields of R&D processes and engineering. Currently serving as a Department Manager at Etteplan since August 2022, Simon has previously held roles including Supplier Responsible Engineer at Epiroc, where responsibilities encompassed managing CO2 reduction projects and leading technical development initiatives. Simon's expertise is further demonstrated through prior positions at ALTEN Sweden as a Technical Consultant and at Volvo Construction Equipment and SAAB, where contributions ranged from component ownership to quality engineering. Simon holds a Master's degree in Design and Product Development from Linköping University and has also engaged in academic roles, teaching CAD and mentoring students in engineering practices.
