Timo Kallinen

Timo Kallinen has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Timo began their career in 2005 as a Trainee at Oivallin Oy, where they conducted research on measuring oil quality and designed a sensor unit for oil quality measurements. In 2006, they worked as a Trainee at Enermet Oy, where they designed electronics and software for an electricity meter.

From 2007 to 2017, Kallinen worked at Stresstech Oy, initially as an Electronics Designer, focusing on Barkhausen Noise-measuring device development and PCB layout designs. Later, they held the position of Electronics and Development Manager, leading the electrics and electronics department, managing R&D projects, and developing organizational working methods.

In 2017, Kallinen joined EnerKey as the Team Manager for Metering Services, leading a team of IoT experts and connecting energy meters to the EnerKey software. Timo then briefly served as a Business Development Manager in 2019.

In 2016, Kallinen founded Limea Consulting as the CEO, providing consultancy and assistance in lean processes, management systems, and business and product strategies for various industries.

Currently, Kallinen is the Head of Product Verification at Etteplan, where they lead product verification services globally, including EMC and environmental testing, failure analysis, and product safety. Timo also played a key role in opening a new laboratory location and expanding laboratory capabilities through strategic partnerships and acquisitions. Additionally, they previously worked at Etteplan as an Account & HW Manager, responsible for sales, account management, and technical project management in R&D projects and programs.

Timo Kallinen completed their education with a Master's Degree in Marketing, Business Law, and other Business related subjects from the University of Jyväskylä in 2020. Timo also holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from the same university, which they obtained between 2012 and 2014. Timo Kallinen received a Diploma in Product Development from Aalto University Executive Education and Professional Development in 2011, specializing in product development and leadership. Prior to that, they earned a Master's Degree in Physics: Electronics from the University of Jyväskylä, attending from 2002 to 2007. Timo Kallinen completed their high school education at Viitasaari high school between 1998 and 2001.
