Carolin Wais

Carolin Wais is a Partner at Plug and Play Tech Center, overseeing investments in EMEA with a focus on B2B Enterprise Technology across various sectors including AI, DeepTech, and Fintech since July 2019. Carolin also serves as Director and a member of the EMEA Investment Committee, managing investments from Pre-Seed to Series B. Prior to this, Carolin founded and organized the traction by ESCP Europe conference, featuring prominent speakers and numerous sponsors. Experience includes a strategic investment role at Axel Springer SE, investment controller at next47, and dual education as a student at Siemens AG. Carolin holds a Master of Science in Management from ESCP Business School and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg, complemented by Venture Capital Executive Education at IE Business School.
