Bertrand Pecquerie

Bertrand Pecquerie is a senior advisor at ETX Studio since February 2021, with a previous role as senior advisor for philanthropy at Reporters Without Borders (RSF). Pecquerie served as CEO of the Global Editors Network from April 2011 to November 2019, an organization aimed at fostering digital innovation in journalism. As director of the World Editors Forum at WAN-IFRA from October 2003 to March 2011, Pecquerie led the team responsible for the annual conference and developed key publications such as the Editors Weblog and Trends in Newsroom report. Earlier, Pecquerie was CEO of World Media Live at Vivendi Universal and CEO of World Media Network at Libération, overseeing the distribution of journalistic content across multiple languages and platforms. Academic credentials include a degree from Ecole normale supérieure and a background in history and geopolitics.
