Jillian Vogel is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in open-source development and educational technology. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Euka Future Learning, Jillian leads the migration to Open edX, focusing on feature plugins and frontend applications for online homeschool products. Prior to this role, Jillian was a Senior Open Source Developer at OpenCraft, contributing significantly to the Open edX learning management system across various layers of the stack. Experience also includes positions at the University of Adelaide, where Jillian supported Blackboard installations and developed educational applications, as well as software engineering roles at Thereitis.com, Internode, and other organizations, showcasing a strong background in web applications and database systems. Jillian holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Iowa.
