Andrew Holmes has a diverse work experience in the field of space and satellite operations. Andrew started their career in 1998 as a Thermal Engineer at Matra Marconi Space/Astrium, where they worked until 2001. In 2002, they joined Paradigm Services as a Spacecraft Operations Engineer and remained there until 2005.

In 2005, Andrew joined both EUMETSAT and Telespazio VEGA. At EUMETSAT, they held various positions such as Ground Segment Operations Prep Engineer from 2005 to 2006, Data Processing Operations Engineer from 2007 to 2009, Multi-Mission System Operations Engineer from 2009 to 2014, and Copernicus Sentinel-3 System Operations Team Leader from 2015 to 2020. Currently, they serve as the Copernicus System Operations Team Leader since 2021.

Throughout their career, Andrew also worked as a Consultant at Telespazio VEGA from 2005 to 2014.
