Ezgi Kiper

Data Processing Engineer at EUMETSAT

Ezgi Kiper has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies. Ezgi began their professional career with a summer internship at Vestel in 2000. In 2001, they had another summer internship, this time at Drexel University. In 2002, they joined TÜBİTAK SAGE as a Researcher and progressed to become a Senior Researcher in 2005. From 2009 to 2011, they served as the Chief Research Engineer at the same company. In 2014, they joined HAVELSAN as a Senior Software Engineer, where they stayed until 2018. After that, they worked as a System Engineer at TÜBİTAK SAGE from 2018 to 2019. Currently, they are working as a Data Processing Engineer at EUMETSAT, starting in 2019.

Ezgi Kiper has an extensive education history in the field of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Ezgi received their Bachelor's degree from Middle East Technical University in 2002, and later pursued a Master's degree in Signal Processing from the same university, completing it in 2005.

In addition to their academic degrees, Ezgi has obtained several certifications throughout their career. In 2003, they completed a course on Advances in Navigation Sensors and Integration Technology offered by the NATO SET (Sensors and Electronics Technology) Panel. In 2004, they received a certification in Fundamentals of Quality and Culture of Foundation from TÜBİTAK TÜSSİDE. Ezgi also obtained a certificate in Mapping Education from the General Command of Mapping in 2003.

Furthermore, Ezgi has acquired expertise in Geographic Information Technologies, having completed a certification program on the subject at Middle East Technical University in 2007. In 2017, they obtained a certificate in Systems Engineering Basics from PSConsulTech H.D.M. Additionally, they completed Navtech Global Navigation Satellite Systems Tutorials, offered by The Institute of Navigation, in 2004.
