Roberto Cezón has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Roberto started their career in 2003 at GMV as a Project Engineer in the Control Systems Division. Roberto then joined EUMETSAT in 2008 as an M&C Application Engineer, working as a GMV contractor until 2017. After that, Roberto worked as a Project Manager at GMV Insyen AG for one year. In 2018, they joined Laetus GmbH as a Project Lead for Software Development, a position they held until 2020. Currently, Roberto is working at EUMETSAT as a Data Processing Engineer, and as of May 2023, they have also taken on the role of Mission Control Functions System Engineer.
Roberto Cezón obtained an Engineer's degree in Telecommunications Engineering from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, which they completed between 1997 and 2003. Following this, between 2006 and 2013, they pursued a Master of Arts (MA) degree in English Language and Literature/Letters from the Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia - U.N.E.D.
Additionally, Roberto has acquired several certifications throughout their career. In July 2007, they obtained the Diplôme Approfondi de Langue Française (DALF) C1 from the Ministère chargé de l'Éducation nationale. In July 2014, they obtained the Goethe-Zertifikat C2 Deutsch from the Goethe-Institut e.V. Furthermore, they obtained the Professional Scrum Master I (PSM I) certification from Scrum.org in February 2019, and the ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level certification from the ISTQB - International Software Testing Qualifications Board in November 2019. Most recently, in January 2022, they obtained certification in Machine Translation from Coursera. It is important to note that the obtained month and year for the HSK5 (C1) Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi (Chinese Exam) certification from the Hanban Confucius Institute are not provided.
