Daniel Kerner

Managing Director And Practice Head Latin America at Eurasia Group

Daniel Kerner has extensive work experience in the field of political risk analysis and consulting. Daniel started their career at Universidad de Buenos Aires as a Researcher from 1998 to 2000. In 2005, they joined Eurasia Group as an Analyst, specializing in Latin America, where they advised clients on political and economic developments and managed research teams. Daniel later became the Managing Director and Practice Head for Latin America, responsible for building and managing a team, expanding the firm's commercial presence in Spanish-speaking Latin America, and producing reports analyzing economic and political trends. Daniel also authored three books on political trends in Argentina and Mexico and frequently spoke at conferences and events on global and regional political dynamics.

Daniel Kerner completed their undergraduate studies from 1994 to 1999 at the University of Buenos Aires, where they earned a Licenciatura in Political Science. In 1997, they received a Certificate in Latin American Studies from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México. Later, from 2000 to 2003, they pursued an AM degree in Latin American History at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Additionally, in 2002, they also obtained an MS degree in Economics from the same institution. In 2005, they attended the University of Michigan for a summer program in quantitative methods for the social sciences.
