Aleix Vila

Aleix Vila is a seasoned blockchain developer and advanced researcher at Eurecat - Technology Centre of Catalonia since November 2017, contributing to applied research and innovation. In addition, Aleix serves as a teacher at Barcelona Activa, offering classes on blockchain technology to IT professionals and enthusiasts since November 2022. As Chief Technology Officer at Watteco since June 2019, Aleix plays a pivotal role in promoting renewable energy financing through a blockchain-based platform. Previous experience includes working as a blockchain specialist at Atraura Blockchain in early 2017 and as treasurer at Barcelona Mobile Apps from 2014 to 2017. Aleix holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, achieved in 2018.
