Bartomeu Rubí

Bartomeu Rubí is a Principal Researcher in the Aerial Robotics unit at Eurecat - Technology Centre of Catalonia, focused on automatic control, path planning, machine learning, and reinforcement learning applied to UAVs. They received a PhD in Automatic Control, Robotics, and Computer Vision from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya in 2020, where their thesis concentrated on Guidance, Navigation, and Control systems for multirotor vehicles. Bartomeu's academic journey includes a Master's degree in Automatic Systems and Industrial Electronics Engineering from UPC and a Bachelor's in Industrial Electronics Engineering from the Universitat de les Illes Balears. Prior to their current role, they worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the Robotics, Vision and Control Laboratory at the Universidad de Sevilla.
