Kristian Ruby

Kristian Ruby is an accomplished leader in the energy and climate sectors, currently serving as Secretary General at EURELECTRIC since January 2017, where the focus is on achieving climate neutrality through electrification. Concurrently, Kristian holds a position on the Board of Directors for vgbe energy e.V. and previously worked as Chief Policy Officer at WindEurope, significantly contributing to the organization’s rebranding and strategic initiatives. Past roles include Chief Advisor at Operate A/S, Assistant to the Commissioner at the European Commission, and various communications positions within the Danish government, particularly during COP15. With a solid foundation in journalism, public relations, and a master's degree in International Development Studies from Roskilde University, Kristian brings a wealth of experience in policy advocacy and communication to the energy and climate dialogue.
