Frédéric Poignant

Frédéric Poignant is an accomplished professional in analytical chemistry with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Currently serving as Chargé d'études développement analytique at EUROAPI since September 2023, Frédéric previously held the position of Senior Analytical Chemist/Project Leader at ADOCIA from March 2021 to February 2022. Between April 2001 and December 2020, Frédéric worked as a Research Fellow at Merck Sharp & Dohme, specializing in LC-MS/MS techniques for the qualitative and quantitative analysis of small molecules and peptides, as well as pharmacokinetics and drug metabolism. Frédéric possesses comprehensive knowledge in generating, interpreting, and reporting toxicokinetic data for both GLP and non-GLP toxicity studies. Academically, Frédéric earned a PhD in Analytical Chemistry from Université de Caen Normandie (1994-1997) and a Diplome d'ingénieur in Organic Chemistry and Materials Chemistry from ENSICAEN (1991-1993).
