Jochen Schaefer is the current Head of HSE at EUROAPI Germany GmbH, leading a multi-disciplinary team of over ten HSE professionals. Previously, Jochen held positions at Sanofi-Aventis Deutschland GmbH and Hoechst AG, where responsibilities included serving as a Safety Engineer and Fire Prevention Officer. Jochen's extensive background in process safety includes conducting HAZOP studies and managing major accident prevention measures. With an engineering degree in Chemical Engineering from Universität Dortmund, Jochen has also completed training as a Safety Engineer.
