Sofie Pollet

Sofie Pollet is currently the Chief Audit Officer at Degroof Petercam, pending regulatory approval, and serves as the President of the Board at IIA Belgium for the 2024-2027 term. With a demonstrated history in financial services, Sofie previously held positions including Senior Internal Auditor at BNP Paribas Fortis and Head of Audit at Société Générale Private Banking Belgium. Sofie began their career as a Senior Financial Auditor at Ernst & Young Bedrijfsrevisoren from 2005 to 2010 and has notable experience at KPMG Belgium as Director of Risk & Regulatory until 2023. Sofie holds a Master's degree in Economics from Ghent University and has furthered their education with a diploma in Audit from UMONS and a Master Class in Leadership from Antwerp Management School.
