Since 1976, the company has been developing, producing, and selling high quality, low carbon footprint amino acids based on long standing biotechnological and industrial expertise.
Based in France, Eurolysine relies on a strong local footprint, built on the use of locally sourced raw materials. Through a natural fermentation process, beet sugar is transformed into a protein source.
With 50 years of technological expertise, Eurolysine has filed 400 patents and industrialised several essential amino acids through short production cycles that deliver a low carbon footprint, aligned with a circular economy approach and a strong commitment to animal welfare.
Operating a 40 hectare production site in Amiens and an R&D centre in Saint Beauzire, the company employs 350 people in France and contributes to the protein sovereignty of animal production sectors. Its expertise is now recognized in more than 50 countries.
