Johan Germs

Johan Germs has extensive work experience in the field of finance and control. Johan has held various roles in different companies throughout their career.

Starting in 2000, Johan worked as a Senior Audit at Ernst & Young, where they were responsible for leading audit teams and performing audits for various clients.

In 2006, Johan joined Wavin/Mexichem as a Senior Specialist Consolidation & Reporting, where they were in charge of external financial reporting. Johan later took on the role of SCOA Manager, where they supported the implementation of the Wavin SCOA and ensured compliance with IFRS. Johan then became Internal Audit Manager, overseeing internal audit activities.

Moving forward to 2014, Johan worked at Odfjell Well Services/Odfjell Drilling as a Financial Controller/Finance Manager. Here, they handled a wide range of financial activities such as period-end closing, VAT returns, and preparation of statutory financial statements.

In 2018, Johan joined CIMC Enric Tank & Process B.V. as a Group Controller. In this role, they were responsible for the full planning and control cycle, budgeting and forecasting, and the preparation of financial statements for the Dutch entities in the group.

Most recently, in 2021, Johan joined Total Webhosting Solutions as the Manager of Financial Control & Reporting.

In 2023, they will take on the position of Head of Financial Control and Reporting at EuroParcs.

Johan Germs's education history is as follows:

From 2015 to 2016, they attended Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam) and pursued an Executive Master Finance and Control (EMFC) / Register Controller (RC) degree. However, they did not complete their thesis in this program. Johan'sfield of study in this degree was Controlling.

Between 2002 and 2010, Johan attended Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam) again, where they obtained a Post Master degree in Auditing.

From 1995 to 2000, they studied at Windesheim and earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Auditing.
