Lara Libra

Lara Libra currently serves as the Head of Office in the Office of the Deputy Executive Director Governance at Europol, a position held since June 2018, and previously held the role of Senior Officer in External & EU Institutional Affairs. From September 2015 to May 2018, Lara Libra was a Senior Manager Consultant at PoliticsMatters, focusing on EU, NATO, and government affairs while leveraging expertise in CBRN defense concepts and policies. Prior experience includes serving as an EU Senior Policy Advisor and an EU Policy Advisor at the European Parliament between September 2006 and July 2014, where responsibilities encompassed policy analysis, drafting, and participation in legislative processes. Lara Libra holds a Master in Economics with a focus on European Studies from Université libre de Bruxelles, a Post Graduate degree in European Studies from Università degli Studi di Torino, and a degree in International Relations and Affairs from the same university.
