Eurosky is an independent European initiative spearheaded by a coalition of entrepreneurs, technologists and civil society organizations working towards a future where Europe has a thriving open social web that's innovative, competitive and built on European values.

Our mission is to build and operate sovereign digital infrastructure that enables European entrepreneurs and developers to build new products and services faster and better — and to catalyze healthier social experiences that delight people.

Eurosky is an initiative of Modal (Stichting Modal), a non-profit organization based in the Netherlands supporting social technologies in the public interest. Modal grew out of the Free Our Feeds campaign to advocate for alternatives to big tech.
