Darren Newell

Darren Newell is an experienced electrical engineer with a robust background in embedded systems and controls engineering. Currently engaged as an Electrical Engineer at EUV Tech since February 2025, Darren previously worked at RIX Industries from June 2021 to February 2025 as an Embedded Systems Engineer, contributing to innovative compressor controllers and exploring advanced projects in motor control and hydrogen generation. Prior roles include Controls Engineer, where responsibility involved firmware development for microcontroller-based systems, and an Electrical Engineering Intern focused on diagnosing wiring issues. Additionally, Darren has teaching experience at San Francisco State University, serving as an Instructor for the Microelectronics Lab and as a Student Teaching Assistant. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, both from San Francisco State University.
