Derik Canion

Derik Canion has worked in the engineering field since 2017. Derik began their career as an Electrical/Mechanical Engineer Intern at Engineering Partners, where they transferred project floor plans to the company database using AutoCAD and created an automated excel spreadsheet. In 2019, they worked as a Robotics Laboratory Assistant at Kamehameha Schools, where they assisted students in programming and organized and prepared parts/tools for robotic kits. In 2022, they worked as an Application Engineer Intern at KETIV Technologies, Inc., where they troubleshot product issues/errors and provided guidance for questions/concerns for customers using Autodesk products. Derik also assisted in creating models or completing drafting tasks for customers. In the same year, they worked as an Electromechanical Engineering Technology Dept. Student Assistant at California State Polytechnic University-Pomona, where they prepared lab assignments/projects and troubleshot faulty circuits. Currently, they are a Jr. Electrical Engineer at EUV Tech.

Derik Canion attended California State Polytechnic University-Pomona from 2018 to 2022, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Electronic Systems Engineering Technology.
