Peter Dudenas is a Research Chemical Engineer and NRC Postdoctoral Fellow at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), where responsibilities include method development for Resonant Soft X-ray Scattering (RSoXS) and Tender Resonant X-ray Scattering (TReXS), as well as the creation of software tools for procedural morphology generation and the translation of measurements for simulations. Previous experience includes a role as a Graduate Student Researcher at Berkeley Lab, focusing on structure-property relationships of perfluorinated sulfonic acid polymers and leading programs in grazing-incidence x-ray scattering. Additionally, Peter worked as an R&D Experimental Physicist at EUV Tech and conducted undergraduate research at Penn State University, where synthesis and functionalization of cellulose nanocrystals were prominent projects. Peter holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Penn State University and a PhD in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.
