Ian Smith is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the automotive and financial services sectors. Currently serving as a Founding Member of EV AI since September 2023, Ian is focused on building eFleet as a Service to facilitate the transition from internal combustion engine to electric vehicle commercial fleets. In addition, Ian holds the position of Managing Director at FinboCX Inc. and serves as an Advisory Board Member at Spring Free EV. Prior roles include financial services responsibilities at B-ON, and leadership positions at BMW Group, where Ian was Chief Executive Officer for the USA & Americas Region and held various other key roles for over a decade. Ian's educational background includes a Post Graduate Certificate from the Edinburgh Business School and a BTEC National Diploma in Business & Finance from Wigan College of Technology.
