Simon Gibbard

Simon Gibbard has extensive experience in logistics and operations management, having held significant positions at various companies. Simon served as General Manager at Palletways UK Ltd from April 2002 to January 2006, overseeing depot operations in Birmingham and Coventry. Following this, Simon was Network Operations Manager at Palletforce PLC from October 2007 to November 2014, where responsibility included managing the compliance and performance of over 100 member depots. At Wincanton, from November 2014 to February 2016, Simon worked as Logistics Manager for the Midlands, focusing on enhancing transport efficiency and compliance. Additionally, Simon held the position of Depot Manager at Rhys Davies Freight Logistics from January 2006 to October 2007, managing large operational teams and logistics solutions. Most recently, Simon served as Network Operations Director and General Manager - Network Operations at EV Cargo in December 2021, where full operational responsibility for the Palletforce network was overseen. Simon holds a CPC certification from CILT and a BSc Hons in Geography from the University of Wales, Swansea.
