Dylan Michlin has a diverse work experience. In 2022, they became the Technical Customer Success Manager at EV Connect. From 2015-2022, they were the Co-Founder of OurHouse Mobile App, where they conceptualized, designed, accelerated, and launched the most streamlined communications and management native mobile software in the non-profit and fraternal industry. Corporate accounts grew at a rate of 80% YoY and local accounts saw a surge of 120% YoY. From 2013-2015, they were the Owner and Operator of Country Crawl Travel LLC, where they established the company with visions of developing an affordable, adventurous, and safe travel company geared towards taking young adults on invaluable excursions throughout Southeast Asia. Dylan also maintained legal and financial records and managed construction of the company website, promotions, and corporation. From 2013-2011, they were an English Second Language Instructor at the American Eagle Institute in Taiwan, where they educated students ages 6-8 and 12-13. Dylan implemented their educator skills acquired throughout their master's level classes, programs, jobs, and internships, and provided students with differentiated learning methods while aiming to include all skillsets and levels. Finally, from 2011-2013, they were a Graduate Student and Teaching Assistant at Nova Southeastern University. Dylan sat in on over 50 hours of Honors English 10 classroom material, over 20 hours of preparation for in-class lesson plans and teaching, and taught two full period classes while being assessed by cooperating teacher and Nova Southeastern Department Head. Dylan also helped the teacher in all tasks pertaining to their coursework, sat in on all English I and Honors English classes, and assisted the teacher in preparation for FCAT testing.
Dylan Michlin attended Michigan State University from 2005 to 2010, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Communication and Media Studies. Dylan then pursued a Master of Science - MS in English/Language Arts Teacher Education from Nova Southeastern University from 2011 to 2013. Dylan also holds an ESL certification.
