Eric Zhou

Eric Zhou has over seven years of professional experience in product management and engineering. In 2022, they began working as a Product Manager for EV Connect. From 2017 to 2022, they were a Product Manager and Geotechnical Engineer (E.I.T) for BGC Engineering Inc., a 400-person international engineering consulting firm specializing in applied earth sciences. During their time there, they led the discovery, development and delivery of SaaS products to transform data and risk management in the mining industry, as well as overseeing site-wide geotechnical instrumentation infrastructure. From 2015 to 2017, they were a Project Coordinator for Collings Johnston Inc., where they drafted eight proposal submissions for major municipal infrastructure projects and provided contract analysis as part of the independent certification team for the Port Mann Highway 1 project. Eric also researched innovative government procurement methods.

Eric Zhou obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science with Distinction (B.A.Sc.) in Geological Engineering from The University of British Columbia between 2012 and 2017. In September 2020, they also obtained a Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification from the Scrum Alliance.
