Sam Armstrong has over 15 years of work experience in software development and quality assurance management. Their most recent position is as a Software Automation Developer at EV Range, starting in June 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Freelance Web Developer starting in February 2009. Sam has also worked at various companies, including Insignia Health, Vacasa, and Downstream, in roles such as Software Developer, Senior Automation Engineer, QA Manager, and Software Engineer in Test. Additionally, Sam has served as a Lead QA Engineer at AKQA and Vesta Corporation, and as a Senior Project Lead at Intel Labs. Their work experience dates back to 2007 when they worked simultaneously as a Designer and Lead QA Engineer at imeem.
Sam Armstrong has a diversified education history starting with graphic design and motion graphics, which they studied at the Academy of Art University from 2001 to 2003. Later, in 2017, they pursued a computer software engineering certification in Full Stack Web Development from Udacity. In the following year, they completed another certification in Full Stack Web and Mobile Development from Nucamp Coding Bootcamp. Sam also earned a Front End Web and Mobile Development Certification from Nucamp Coding Bootcamp in December 2021.
