Rüdiger Meyer

Rüdiger Meyer is a social entrepreneur and experienced leader in social businesses and SMEs, with a strong focus on sustainability, climate change, supply chain transparency, fair trade, and gender equality. They served as the Supply Chain Developer at Fairtrade International from 1997 to 2003 and founded FLOCERT, where they acted as CEO from 2003 to 2020. From 2020 to 2021, Rüdiger held the position of Managing Director at EDGE Certified Foundation. They are currently the Co-Founder and Managing Director of the Ecosystem Value Association e.V., a role they have undertaken since 2021. Rüdiger obtained a diploma in Sociology from Bielefeld University, where they studied from 1986 to 1992.
