Founded in 1945, The Evanston Symphony Orchestra uses the power of music to lift the human spirit. We engage and enrich the community by coming together to perform, inspire and educate. Our offerings include:
•	Four inspiring subscription concerts per year, featuring performances of classics and new music, accomplished guest artists and soloists, and ~100 talented local musicians
•	A free outdoor summer pops concert for all ages, which is a fun night out for the community
•	Early childhood “Music In Your World” program, and music coaching for high school musicians
•	Four free Musical Insights lectures that provide an inside view of the music featured in each subscription concert
•	Special concert programs for the visually impaired, KidNotes for children, and a musical activity book for older adults (HighNotes)
•	Holiday Extravaganza—Collaborative Community Performance each December
•	Young Person's Concerts (YPC) to recognize and encourage middle school students to keep playing--includes youth friendly pieces and side-by-side performance with ESO members and youth musicians.
•	Post-Concert Receptions with the opportunity to meet guest artists
