Jaime Lees

Jaime Lees currently serves as a Governing Body Member for the DC Chief Data Officer Community at Evanta, a Gartner Company, since July 2021. With a tenure at Arlington County Government starting in April 2008, Jaime holds the position of Chief Data Officer, responsible for developing county-wide policies and best practices for data sharing and usage. Previous roles within Arlington County include Process and Data Analysis Manager, where Jaime established data analytics and open data programs, and Senior Business Analyst and Project Manager, overseeing complex IT projects. Jaime also has experience as a Senior Project Manager at the National Academy of Sciences, leading efforts to digitize submission and peer review processes, and as a Project Manager at the American Geophysical Union, managing multiple academic journals. Education includes a Leadership Arlington Class of 2022 from the Leadership Center for Excellence, training from The Gov Lab at New York University, and a Bachelor of Arts in English and Religion from Bucknell University.
