Steve Lodin

Steve Lodin serves as Vice President of Information Security at Sallie Mae, overseeing the Cybersecurity Operations and Identity and Access Management teams, and managing the Corporate Security Exceptions process. With extensive experience in leadership roles, Lodin previously held several director positions within Sallie Mae, focusing on cybersecurity operations, application security, and developing security teams from the ground up. Lodin is an advisory member of the Indiana Executive Council on Cybersecurity and participates in various advisory boards, including the Ohio River Valley Chapter of the Cloud Security Alliance. A co-founder of Pondurance LLC, Lodin has also held significant roles at respected organizations such as Roche Diagnostics and Forsythe, contributing to IT security and risk management in diverse environments. Lodin holds a Master's in Computer Science from Purdue University and a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering from North Dakota State University.
