Tarun Sood

Tarun Sood, DBA, currently serves as the Chief Data Officer at American Century Investments since July 2022 and holds multiple advisory roles, including membership on the AIM Leaders Council and HBR Advisory Council. Sood is actively involved with several organizations, such as the Advisory Board for the CDOIQ Program and CDO Magazine's Global Editorial Board. Sood has prior experience as CDAO for the Institutional Investor Group at Vanguard, overseeing teams dedicated to data science, AI/ML, data engineering, business intelligence, and more. Sood's career also includes a senior leadership role at Deloitte Consulting. Educational credentials include a Doctorate of Business Administration from Drexel University, an MBA from The University of Chicago, and a Bachelor's degree in Information Science from Drexel University. Additionally, Sood completed an Executive Education program at Stanford University.
