Tony Kong

SVP, Corporate Strategy at EVault

Tony is the Senior Vice President of Corporate Strategy, responsible for leading OpenText’s strategic initiatives and annual business planning. In this role, Tony works closely with OpenText’s CEO and Executive Leadership Team to shape their market segments, conduct product portfolio analysis, acquisition strategy, and merger integration of acquired companies.

Prior to joining OpenText, Tony spent more than six years at EY Parthenon as Managing Director and Value Creation Technology Practice Leader, serving as an executive advisor to corporate and private equity clients globally on M&A transactions in the technology and healthcare sectors.

Tony’s experience prior to EY Parthenon includes technical leadership roles with successful start-up companies, including Captura Software (early T&E SaaS platform acquired by Concur), Edmark Software (consumer and educational software company acquired by IBM) and Starwave/ESPN.com (acquired by Disney Interactive).

Tony holds an MBA from the University of Notre Dame and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Washington.
