André Guimarães

André Guimarães has a diverse work experience in the field of software development and engineering. André is currently employed by EVBox as a Software Development Engineer in Test, a position they have held since January 2023. Prior to this, they worked at EVBox as a Senior Embedded Automated Testing Engineer starting in January 2022, and previously as an Embedded Automated Testing Engineer starting in October 2019.

Before joining EVBox, André worked at Scania Group as a Test Automation Engineer from September 2018 to October 2019. André also worked at Sebratec AB as an Automotive Engineer during the same period.

André's career started at FCA Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, where they held the role of Jr. Product Engineering Analyst. André held this position twice, first from October 2015 to December 2016, and then from December 2016 to September 2018.

Prior to their professional career, André gained valuable experience through internships and a residency program. André was an Automotive Embedded Systems Student at CESAR.EDU from July 2015 to September 2015. André also worked at CPqD as an Embedded Software Engineer and intern, from July 2013 to June 2015.

Before that, André had internships at LIEC - Laboratório de Instrumentação Eletrônica e Controle as an R&D Software Development Intern from December 2011 to June 2013, and at Embedded Lab as an R&D Software Development Intern from March 2009 to December 2010.

André started their career as an R&D Software Development Intern at iPhotobot from July 2008 to December 2008.

Throughout their career, André has developed a wide range of skills and expertise in software development, automation testing, and automotive engineering.

André Guimarães attended Universidade Federal de Campina Grande from 2007 to 2013, where they pursued a degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Control and Automation.
