Cedric Marin

Lead Of Embedded Software Development at EVBox

Cedric Marin has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Cedric started their career as an intern at Matra Electronique in 2000. In 2002, they completed another internship at Areall, followed by a third-year internship at Sagem in 2003.

In 2005, Cedric joined Alcatel-Lucent Bell Labs, where they pursued a doctorate in physics until 2009. After completing their doctorate, they joined Blue Green Technology as a Responsible for R&D. At Blue Green Technology, Cedric led a team in software development for an embedded monitoring module for aircrafts' security during parking. Cedric was responsible for various technical skills such as embedded electronics, Linux, image processing, cellular and Iridium networks, software development, and server administration. Cedric also managed customer relations, explored new embedded technologies, and handled the company's IT infrastructure.

Cedric's next role was at Overline Systems as a Responsible for R&D from September 2014 to May 2017. Cedric then joined EVTRONIC in May 2017 as an R&D engineer. Currently, Cedric is working at EVBox as the Lead of Embedded Software Development since December 2018.

Cedric Marin pursued their education in a chronological manner. Cedric began their academic journey by enrolling at the IUT d'Orsay from 1998 to 2000, where they completed their DUT Mesures Physiques degree with a specialization in Techniques Instrumentales. Afterward, they attended FIUPSO, which later became Polytech Paris-Sud, from 2000 to 2003. At this university, they earned their Diplôme d'ingénieurs with a focus on Electronique/Informatique Industrielle. In 2004, Cedric briefly attended the Université d'Orsay/SUPELEC, specializing in Signal et Communication, where they completed a DEA ATS (Automatisme et Traitement du Signal) degree. Ultimately, from 2005 to 2009, they undertook their Thèse de Doctorat in Physique at Alcatel-Lucent Bell Labs/L2S SUPELEC.
