Daan de Rooij

Daan de Rooij's work experience began in 2014 as a rafting instructor at Dutch Water Dreams. Daan then worked as a ski/snowboard instructor at SnowWorld and Schischule activ. In 2015, they became a ski/snowboard instructor at Otto´s Schi- & Snowboardschule. From 2016 to 2019, Daan owned and operated De Rooij logistiek. In 2019, they interned as an Information Security Intern at CED. In 2020, they worked as a Cyber Security Research Intern at Navaio IT Security. From 2018 to 2021, Daan worked as a Senior Driver at Euro BOB chauffeursdiensten. In 2021, they founded and became the owner of Drone Video Online. Finally, in February 2021, they started as a Security Graduate Intern at EVBox, later becoming a Junior Information Security Officer and ultimately an Information Security Officer.

Daan de Rooij completed their education history as follows:

From 2017 to 2021, Daan attended De Haagse Hogeschool / The Hague University of Applied Sciences, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Information Security Management.

In 2020, they also pursued a Minor in Entrepreneurship at the same institution.

Prior to that, from 2012 to 2016, Daan studied at ID College and earned a MBO degree in Sport en Bewegen - Outdoorleisure.

Daan'searliest education was at GSG Leo Vroman from 2008 to 2012, where they completed VMBO-T.

Daan de Rooij has also obtained various certifications throughout their educational journey, including the ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Implementer from PECB in June 2023, Stakeholder Management from YEAR Academy in August 2022, and the Propedeuse in Information Security Management from De Haagse Hogeschool / The Hague University of Applied Sciences in October 2021.

Additionally, they hold certifications in MBO 4 Sport & Bewegen from ID College (2016), Ski Anwärter from Snowsports Academy (2015), Raft Guide II from the International Rafting Federation (2014), and Snowboard Anwärter from Snowsports Academy (2014).
