Mert Öztoprak

Mert Öztoprak has a diverse range of work experience spanning various roles and industries. Mert is currently working at EVBox as a Senior Embedded Software Engineer, where they have been instrumental in developing innovative charging station products and implementing OCPP 2.0. Prior to this, they worked as an Embedded Firmware Engineer at EVBox, contributing to their mission of promoting sustainable mobility through electric vehicle charging solutions.

Before joining EVBox, Mert served as the R&D Team Leader at Mobil Trust from 2012 to 2018. During this time, they demonstrated leadership skills by leading a team in research and development activities. Mert also founded their own company, Roboton End. Elekt. Bilg. Müh. San. ve Tic. Ltd. Şti., where they served as the Owner from 2014 to 2017.

Mert's experience also includes working as a Lead Hardware Engineer at Senseloop AS from 2015 to 2016. Additionally, they contributed to the Metu RoboTurk Robot Soccer Team as a Hardware Designer from 2011 to 2012. Before that, they pursued their Bachelor of Science degree in Electronics Engineering from Ankara University between 2005 and 2010.

Prior to their university education, Mert Öztoprak attended Icel Anatolian High School, graduating in 2005. During their high school years, they focused on Maths and Science subjects, achieving a GPA of 4.66.
