Manager, Field Service Partner Management at EVBox

Oriol D. has extensive work experience, starting in 1999 and continuing to the present. Oriol'smost recent role is as the Manager of Field Service Partner Management at EVBox, where they started in January 2023. Prior to this, they worked at ChargePoint as a Senior Program Manager from April 2022 to June 2022. Oriol also held the position of Field Services Program Manager at ChargePoint from November 2019 to April 2022, where they were responsible for the European Field Services team and onboarding and evaluating Field Service partners across Europe.

Before their time at ChargePoint, Oriol worked at BP Chargemaster as the Head of Network Integration and Quality from August 2018 to October 2019. In this role, they had overall responsibility for the Engineering function across GB and beyond, managing a team of engineers on maintenance and repair projects and supporting stakeholders with fault-finding and repair.

From 2007 to 2018, Oriol was the Service Centre Manager at Northern Drives and Controls Ltd, where they headed industrial power and control electronics repairs for Southern England. Oriol managed a team of engineers and admin staff, developed new business through international distributors, and strengthened relationships with clients and vendors. Oriol also streamlined procurement processes and oversaw project management, repairs, and testing of AC/DC drives.

Oriol's early work experience includes roles as an IT Support and Library Assistant at Glasgow Caledonian University, an IT Support Technician at Atos, an Electronics Engineer (Trainee) at Mitsubishi Electric Automotive Europe B.V., a Programmer Analyst at Aimar CB, and a Maintenance Trainee at Bimbo Iberia Corporativa SL.

Oriol D. began their education at a high school called Institut la Vall del Tenes, where they completed their High School degree in BUP & COU from 1996 to 1998. Afterward, they attended EMT Granollers from 1998 to 2000, where they obtained an Engineer's Degree in Advanced vocational qualification in Electronics.

In 2000, Oriol enrolled at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya and completed their Bachelor's Degree in Electronic Engineering from 2000 to 2005. Oriol then pursued further studies at Glasgow Caledonian University from 2005 to 2006, earning a Bachelor's Degree, BEng (Hons) in Electronic Engineering.

Continuing their academic journey, Oriol attended the University of Strathclyde in 2006-2007, where they obtained a Master's Degree in Control Engineering with Business.

In terms of additional certifications, Oriol received the PRINCE2 certification from AXELOS Global Best Practice in November 2015. Furthermore, in November 2016, they obtained the CMI Level 7 Certificate in Strategic Management and Leadership (QCF) from the Chartered Management Institute.
