Steven Whitacre

Steven Whitacre's work experience begins in 2010 when they worked as a Supervisor at Rader Farms, where they coordinated workers, machines, and trucks. Steven was promoted from driver to supervisor within the first week of their second summer.

In 2011, they worked as a Manufacturing Engineering Intern at Hexcel Corporation, where they designed and modified composite tooling, hand tools, and workstations. Steven also assisted engineers with various projects, including process improvements and quotation.

During the same year, they also worked as an Engineering Graphics Teachers Assistant at both Western Washington University and the University of Southern Mississippi.

In 2012, they became a Technical Specialist at Mississippi Polymer Institute, where they served until 2015.

From 2015 to 2019, they worked at Voltea as an Applications Engineer. Steven'sresponsibilities included designing, optimizing, drafting, and managing bill of materials for industrial water desalination systems. Steven also worked on product development, testing, and prototype management, as well as modifying existing products to meet customer requirements.

Currently, since November 2022, they have been working at EVBox as a Senior Program Manager. Steven previously held the role of Senior Mechanical Engineer from June 2019 to November 2022.

Steven Whitacre received their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Plastics Engineering Technology and Materials Science from Western Washington University, where they studied from 2007 to 2012. From 2012 to 2014, they attended The University of Southern Mississippi, although the degree obtained during this period is not specified.
