Gatis Lazda is an entrepreneur and investor focused on green energy, with engineering and development experience from small-scale to high-voltage projects and current involvement in wind, solar, and BESS developments. From 2017 to 2021, they led Enefit Latvija's Energy Solution Team, developing and implementing new energy services and pursuing technical business development in solar energy, electric vehicle charging systems, and LED solutions. They are the Chief Executive Officer of Evecon since 2021 and the Chief Technology Officer of Saules Energy since 2023, overseeing renewable energy projects in the Baltic states. Earlier, they served as Chief Executive Officer of ARG sistēmas (2007-2013) and as Project Director at EC Systems Ltd. (2004-2017). They have been a board member of Latvijas Atjaunīgās enerģijas alianse since 2025, and they are pursuing an engineer's degree at Riga Technical University.
