Sherry Chen

Sherry Chen is a people leader with extensive experience in building scalable HR and recruiting programs from the ground up. Currently, Sherry serves as the founder of an HR and Recruiting consultancy, aiding startups in developing their People programs, while also holding fractional HR roles at several organizations. Previously, Sherry was the Head of People at Extra Card, overseeing the human resources strategy and a team of seven. Sherry's career began as a math teacher with Teach For America, where they honed skills in relationship building and resilience while contributing to significant student performance improvements. Sherry is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Psychology at the University of California San Diego.
