Daniel Insley

Daniel Insley is a seasoned engineering leader with extensive experience in software development and team management. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering at Event Temple since July 2022, Daniel previously held the position of Head of Development at Knit Agency, where management of a team of 15-18 software developers was a key responsibility. Daniel's career includes significant roles such as Senior Software Developer at Pixel Union, where impactful software for the BC Cannabis store was developed, and Senior Integrations Team Lead at InQuicker, providing self-scheduling solutions for health systems nationwide. In addition to industry roles, Daniel has contributed to education as a Sessional Instructor at North Island College, developing curriculum for accredited programming courses in Ruby and Swift. Earlier experiences include leadership at Viviti Technologies Inc and a progression from hosting support to Software Engineer at Bravenet Web Services.
