Brian Suh has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Brian currently works as a Software Engineer II (SEO) at Eventbrite. In this role, they have been responsible for driving the front and back end development process for landing page breadcrumbs, resulting in significant increases in organic sessions and impressions. Brian has also helped develop a pipeline to generate a sitemap using Terraform and AWS lambdas, and automated the deployment of these lambdas through the CI/CD pipeline.
Prior to Eventbrite, Brian worked at FortyAU as a Software Developer. Brian helped develop a system of RESTful microservices for handling monetary transactions for HSA benefits and led data migration initiatives. Brian also collaborated with teammates to develop a CRUD application for providing dental benefits.
Before FortyAU, Brian worked at Ardent Health Services as an Information Security Analyst, where they automated repetitive Active Directory workflows and supported the implementation of SailPoint IdentityIQ software. Brian also served as an Epic Inpatient Clinical Documentation Analyst, working on custom and standardized Epic build for hospitals and leading the Epic build in specific departments.
In their earlier years, Brian gained experience as a Vanderbilt Men's Basketball Student Manager, where they assisted with practices, film sessions, game preparation, and laundry. Brian also worked briefly as a Coach/Counselor. Additionally, they interned at Bridgestone as an IT Security Project Management Intern and Release Management Intern, where they worked on projects related to role standardization, release management, and utilized tools like Remedy.
Brian also has experience as a Business Intelligence Intern at THE ICONIC and as a Residential Advisor and Debate Coach at Harvard Debate Council Workshops.
Brian Suh received their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Vanderbilt University, where they studied from 2012 to 2016. During the same period, they also pursued an Economics and Computer Science Major with a minor in Financial Economics at Vanderbilt University. Prior to attending Vanderbilt, Brian attended Roslyn High School from 2008 to 2012. In addition to their formal education, Brian obtained several certifications, including the Provider Administration (SER) Badge, Security and Access certification, and EpicCare Inpatient Clinical Documentation certification, all from Epic, in the years 2017 and 2015.
