Richard Saethang

Richard Saethang has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Richard is currently working as a Co-Founder at EventCreate, starting in July 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Amazon as a Senior Design Technologist from September 2020 to July 2022. Before their stint at Amazon, Richard was also a Co-Founder at EventCreate from February 2016 to August 2020.

Richard's earlier experience includes working at StudyMode as a Senior Front End Developer from August 2012 to February 2016. Here, they contributed to projects by implementing streamlined systems, collaborating with designers, and optimizing codebase for improved performance. Richard also gained experience in design and development as the Founder of Rich Media Design from January 2007 to April 2014.

Other positions Richard held include Front End Developer roles at Ammirati from January 2009 to August 2012 and at Krate from June 2008 to January 2009. Richard also worked as a Front End Developer/Flash Animation and Design at Sony Pictures Imageworks Interactive from an unspecified time in 2006 to 2008.

Richard Saethang attended the University of Southern California from 2002 to 2006, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Communication and Media Studies. During the same period, they also pursued a minor in 3D-Animation. In 2022, Richard obtained two additional certifications, namely the AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in May and the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from AWS in April.
