Brian Blake is the owner of Venue Solutions Limited and serves as its Managing Director, applying expertise in budgeting, business planning, operations management, coaching, and event management to improve sport and recreation outcomes in the community. They previously held senior leadership roles including Chief Executive of The Trusts Arena (2010–2016) and Chief Executive Officer of Eventfinda Stadium (2018–Present), and they led The Trusts Stadium as Events & Operations Manager (2006–2010) and Holy Trinity Cathedral as Operations Manager (1998–2006). They are the Chair of the Wiri Licensing Trust (since 2019), a community-owned business that distributes a significant portion of its profits back to the local community through grants, donations and sponsorships. They studied at the University of Auckland from 1999 to 2001.
