Hiroko Strange has over 20 years of work experience in various design and production roles. Hiroko began their career at the Embassy of Japan in the US as an intern and later worked at the International Women's Media Foundation in the same capacity. Hiroko then joined Trinity Washington University as an International Programs Specialist, where they assisted in the production of marketing materials and organized events for international students. Hiroko also worked at Enviro-Management & Research Inc. as a Publications Specialist, producing technical reports for government agencies. Hiroko then served as a Production Artist at Carter Cosgrove + Company, assisting in marketing projects for Fortune 500 companies and non-profit organizations. Hiroko later became a Publication/Graphics Designer at IBI, Global Insights - Local Solutions, managing publication production for an international consulting firm. Hiroko then joined American City Business Journals (Washington Business Journal) as a Production Designer, contributing to the production of their business newspaper. Hiroko's next role was as a Graphic Designer at Chickasaw Nation Industries, Inc. Currently, they are the Director of Creative Services at eventPower, where they oversee a team and leads the design and execution of creative projects for events.
Hiroko Strange received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from Trinity Washington University, where they studied from 1994 to 1998.
